Cherry U-pick in Yakima Valley near Seattle

Cherry U-pick in Yakima Valley is one of the most awaited activity for our family and now it has become a yearly tradition. Cherry u-pick season in Pacific Northwest starts at the end of June and lasts for couple of weeks (it also depends on mother nature and how soon fields are picked out).

Each year we go to Barrett orchards in sunny Yakima valley, which is around 2 hour drive from Seattle. They have both yummy Rainier and Bing cherries in their farm. It is absolute delight for our family to see, taste and pick fresh and ripe cherries. They also have the most delicious huckleberry ice cream, which is absolute must during your visit.
